Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ASIEDGE collects, uses, and protects personal data, the legal bases we rely on, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to align with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).
1. Who we are
ASIEDGE operates the website at asiedge.io and the federated intelligence network described on it. For the purposes of the GDPR, the controller of the personal data covered by this policy is:
Entity: ASIEDGE Tech Solutions B.V.
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42115817
Contact: info@asiedge.io
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to visitors to our website and to representatives of the organizations we engage with, including sports clubs, ownership groups, AI and robotics partners, and public programs. It concerns the personal data ASIEDGE itself collects, principally business-contact and website data.
A note on our federated model. ASIEDGE's infrastructure is federated by design. Performance and other data generated by sports organizations is processed inside each organization's own environment and does not leave its custody; ASIEDGE does not receive or hold athletes' raw performance data. Where such processing involves personal data, it is governed by separate written agreements with the organizations concerned, who act as controllers of that data. As a result, the personal data ASIEDGE itself holds is limited, and is described below.
3. The personal data we collect
-
Information you give us. When you request a briefing or otherwise contact us, we collect your name, email address, organization, and the content of your message, together with anything else you choose to share.
-
Business-relationship data. In exploring and managing partnerships, we process the contact and professional details of the people we deal with (name, role, employer, business contact details, and our correspondence).
-
Technical and usage data. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, referring pages, and similar information, through cookies and comparable technologies.
4. How we use your data, and our legal bases
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. With your consent, we also use analytics and performance.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
-
with service providers (processors) who host our website, deliver email, or provide analytics and IT services on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions;
-
with professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where necessary;
-
with partner organizations, only where relevant to a partnership you or your organization is involved in;
-
where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights.
7. International transfers
We are based in the Netherlands and aim to keep personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguard.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Briefing and enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months afterwards. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. How we protect your data
We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Our federated architecture is part of this: by keeping partners' underlying data inside their own environments, we minimize the personal data we ourselves hold.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out beforehand). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@asiedge.io.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the authority in your country of residence. We would welcome the chance to address your concerns first.
11. Children
Our website and services are directed to organizations and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
12. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their own privacy notices.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website, with the 'last updated' date shown at the top. We will highlight material changes where appropriate.
14. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@asiedge.io.
